Open role · Internship
Video Production Intern.
Edit and ship short-form video that holds attention from the first frame.
What this role is
This is the role for someone who thinks in frames. You will own small pieces of our video output end to end, from the spark of an idea to a final cut that goes live on the channel. Shoot days exist, but the real craft lives in the edit: pacing, pattern breaks, the second a viewer either stays or leaves.
You will work directly on the videos that represent Stallwart to the world. Founder commentary, build walkthroughs, product teardowns, client stories, culture moments, launch films. The work ships. There is no folder called drafts gathering dust. You will see what landed and what did not, and you will use that to make the next one better.
You will have real room to shape the voice of our video. If a cut needs a different opening, say it. If a shot needs to be reshot, we reshoot it. The point of this internship is not to execute other people's checklists. It is to build a body of work you can carry anywhere.
What you'd actually do
Edit short-form video for Reels, Shorts, and YouTube so the first frame earns the second, and the second earns the third.
Build the shot list for each shoot, then capture the footage on whatever gear the piece needs: a phone, a mirrorless, a DSLR, a lav mic, natural light.
Cut, grade, and sound-design pieces that read as intentional, not improvised.
Pitch concepts for the week ahead with a point of view, not a mood board.
Add titles, captions, and subtitles that respect the viewer and keep the cut moving.
Keep a clean project archive so nothing gets lost between weeks and anyone can pick up where you left off.
Watch what performed and use the pattern on the next shoot. Numbers inform the edit; they don't dictate it.

Questions, answered
- Do I need a resume to apply?
- No. We removed the resume upload on purpose. Show us the work instead: a reel, a post, a doc, a link. We care more about what you have made than how you formatted a CV.
- Do I need to own a camera or any software?
- Stallwart provides the software and AI tools you need. For video, you will want a camera you can shoot on, which can be a phone you already use.
- What happens after I apply?
- A real person reads every application. If the fit looks right, we reach out to set up a first conversation. No automated rejections, no silence.
- Can I apply to both roles?
- Pick the one you feel strongest about and apply to that. If both look like fits once we read your application, we will raise it on the call.
- What should the portfolio link be?
- Any link that shows how you think or make. A YouTube channel, a Google Drive folder, a Notion page, a public Instagram, a GitHub, a Behance. One link is enough.
- When do you hear back?
- We aim to respond within a week either way. If it takes longer, a real person is still reading it. Nothing we receive goes unread.
